Knitting for Beginners - The Rib Cowl

This is a two week class where you will learn to knit a cozy cowl for yourself or a much appreciated gift for someone you love.
In this class you will learn how to cast on with a circular needle, the knit and purl rib stitch and how to cast off.

Women's Bolero Jacket

Level - Advanced Beginner must know how to cast on and off, knit and purl stitch

Time - Every other Wednesday evenings April 21st, May 5th, 19th, June 2nd and 16th 6pm to 7:30pm
Tuition fee - for five sessions $100 for museum members. Non member price $115
Material fee - for pattern and yarn $107.40 for Small, $116.35 for Med and $125.30 for large. If you need the needles, size 10 and 10.5 circular needles there will be an additional charge of $17.

This attractive bolero is perfect for a cool spring evening or for winter. Create a beautiful scarf while learning how to twist your stitches to form cables. In this class you will learn simple increases, decreases and how to use a cable needle to form cables. This class is perfect for a new knitter who wants to move on to a more advanced form of knitting without a huge time commitment.

In this class you will learn to knit in the round with 4 double pointed needles, turn a heel, gussets, decreasing, picking up stitches and the kitchener stitch while creating a mini sock. Then get started on your own socks!
